VISION
Bridging the Gap in Vancouver’s Racing Scene
Vancouver’s cycling community is thriving, yet serious local racers face a dilemma. They can either join a cycling club where racing is an afterthought, with limited support, or commit to an elite race team that has rigorous travel demands across North America and Europe. For the dedicated athlete who balances a full-time career or school, but still competes at an elite level, there has been no in-between—until now.
Introducing 604 Project Racing
The first race team of its kind in BC, 604 Project Racing is designed for dedicated, high-performance local racers from the Lower Mainland. We provide team structure, race support, and the high-level competition that serious racers need—without the pressure of constant travel. Led by two former professional cyclists with experience racing across the world and representing Team Canada, and an Executive Director with over three decades in business and consulting, we’re bringing a new approach to top-tier racing. We’re rethinking what it means to race bikes in Vancouver.
Racing with Purpose
604 Project Racing goes beyond competition to make a meaningful impact in the cycling community. Through our partnership with HeadsUpGuys, the world’s leading men’s mental health resource, we are committed to raising awareness about the importance of mental well-being. We believe that bikes are more than a tool for performance—they’re a vehicle for connection, resilience, and healing. By integrating mental health advocacy into our mission, we aim to foster a stronger, more supportive culture in cycling.
